GoSun – Sustainable Product Infographic Design
School Project | Sustainable Design Course, 2016
This infographic was created as part of my Sustainable Design course in 2016, where we were tasked with researching a real-world sustainable product and visually communicating why it matters.
I selected the GoSun Solar Grill, a fuel-free cooker powered entirely by the sun. The product can bake, boil, or fry meals for up to eight people with zero emissions—making it a practical and eco-conscious solution for off-grid cooking, food insecurity, and climate-conscious living.
The final design breaks down the product's parts and materials, explains how the solar and thermal battery systems work, and highlights its environmental and social impact. I used a mix of vector illustration, technical labeling, icons, and hierarchy to keep the content informative yet visually engaging.
This project deepened my understanding of sustainable design principles and allowed me to combine research, environmental storytelling, and infographic design into one cohesive visual narrative.
